“When thinking about how AI and technology are really becoming a part of our daily lives, and how we, as hairdressers, we can never be replaced - our hands will always do things that a computer never can. Creatively, for us, how do we make that come alive visually?
So overall, you will see the hair direction is very wearable, compared to last year which was a little more hypercreative, we really wanted to create hair that felt not only something to replicate, but something to wear.”

About Bethany
The inspiration for this look came from exploring creative possibilities with Midjourney, an AI program that allowed me to reimagine the boundaries of dreads, twists, and braids. I envisioned a style that blended elements of fantasy with a sense of realism—taking hair colors to bold extremes while preserving a healthy, organic feel. Michelle brought this vision to life brilliantly, using L’Oréal Colorista Sprays to achieve a soft yet striking palette of blushes, blues, and violets.
For those considering lightening darker hair, here’s an essential tip: take it low and slow. Use a 10-volume developer and prioritize hair health. And when working with tightly textured strands, remember the golden rule of S.R.P.: Saturation, Reapplication, and Patience. These steps are key to achieving vibrant results without compromising texture.
